"My surgeon in a leading South Delhi hospital told me TKR was 'urgent' and quoted ₹4.5 lakh for one knee, ₹8 lakh for both. I sent my MRI to Orthosist on a friend's suggestion. Their council said my cartilage was Grade 2, not Grade 3 — surgery wasn't justified yet. PRP injection plus 12 weeks of structured physio later, I'm pain-free. Saved at least ₹4.5 lakh and avoided an irreversible procedure."
Orthosist in Delhi.
Of all Indian cities, Delhi has the loudest joint-replacement marketing — billboards, hospital ads, surgeon-of-the-month features. It's also the city where a second opinion can make a ₹4-lakh difference. We're here for exactly that.

turnaround
A city built on sitting, polluted air, and aggressive private healthcare.
Delhi has a peculiar joint-health profile. White-collar workers in Connaught Place and Lutyens sit at desks 9+ hours a day. Auto-drivers and delivery riders absorb potholes through their knees and backs. Older residents in Old Delhi walk on uneven lanes; in Vasant Kunj they barely walk at all. Two diet-and-lifestyle clusters, one shared problem — joints that wear down faster than they should.
Add to this: Delhi has more orthopedic surgeons per square kilometer than almost any Indian city. Many are excellent. Some are commercially aggressive. Hospitals across South Delhi and West Delhi advertise joint replacement on hoardings, and EMI plans make ₹4 lakh look like ₹15,000 a month.
In this environment, an independent second opinion isn't a luxury — it's a defence.

The four conditions we see most in Delhi
Vitamin-D-deficient knee pain
Delhi has very high vitamin D deficiency (indoor lifestyle, pollution blocking sun). A huge percentage of "early arthritis" recommendations are actually correctable deficiency-driven pain.
Desk-job back pain
Lower back pain from long sitting hours, especially in Gurgaon-commuting professionals. MRI bulges are common but rarely surgical.
Post-COVID joint pain
Many Delhi residents took steroids during COVID, leading to early AVN (hip joint damage). We catch many of these in time to preserve the joint.
"Floor-sitting" hip pain
Older Delhi residents who sit on the floor for prayer, meals, or socializing develop hip stiffness blamed on arthritis. Often a flexibility issue, not a surgical one.
